Senior Account Manager - Reseller

Main purpose of the Role:

As an Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for growth of both Revenue and Margin within an agreed Strategic Account. You will own the Account Development Plan, build a peer to peer Executive Engagement model, cross and upsell the Virtual1 product portfolio as well as owning customer satisfaction throughout the Sales journey.


Key Tasks and Accountabilities

· Develop and drive a successful Sales strategy within an agreed Strategic Account.

· Work with relationship owners and educate engagement and thought leadership to drive loyalty and winning propositions.

· Educate, train and guide the Partners Sales Departments on how Virtual1 will benefit them to generate opportunity and growth.

· Work with channel sales account teams to build joint value propositions and end user account strategies.

· Engage with internal Departments and support groups to enhance products, propositions and campaigns.

· Build strategic relationships with C-level executives and key business leaders throughout the industry.

· Understand the B2B2C model, building knowledge and expertise on end user profiles and verticals.

· Support Marketing in building effective marketing campaigns specific to the Account.

· To clearly and accurately (+/- 5%) forecast a short, medium and long-term pipeline.


Essential Criteria

· Background selling complex customer solutions in a rapidly evolving technology domain within channel and wholesale

· 8+ years of solutions sales experience, with 4+ of those years specifically focused on leading a virtual team/ support groups.

· Track record of working closely with customers to deliver solutions that exceed their technical and business expectations

· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including extensive experience presenting to C-level executives in large Corporate organisations.

· Solution-sales mentality in an environment with multiple products and services

· Proven ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers

· Excellent balance of strategic and tactical skills

· Proven Sales track record of significant over performance

· Self-starter, highly motivated with demonstrable mentoring experience.

· Can identify insightful and compelling business opportunities for customers and prospects.

· Has knowledge and experience of a multi-level qualification process.

· Ability to analyse competitor strengths and weaknesses and compares these to formulate tactics and messaging.
